Green Smoothies are getting more and more popular by the day! Even Dr. Oz features Green Smoothie Recipes on his website Some of Dr. Oz’s smoothie recipes use Greek yogurt, peanut butter, cocoa powder…keep in mind that you can easily switch these ingredients out for healthier and raw food alternatives. Greek Yogurt is loaded with added sugar and not a healthy option, even if Dr. Oz says so! Check your label, there can be up to 20g of sugar per serving!! Instead of Greek Yogurt, use 1 cup water + 2 Tbsp. coconut oil or 1 cup coconut water. Replace peanut butter with delicious raw tahini which is high in Calcium. Use raw cacao powder instead of cocoa powder and keep all of the natural antioxidants intact.

Have a daily smoothie for immune boosting after cancer, improved skin, more energy, weight loss, pH health and most of all, for feeling great! Let your food be your medicine!
